Foot Locker Philippines: The American Footwear and Sportswear Retailer is Now in the Philippines
I have decided to go beyond food and travel, and also write articles on lifestyle and shopping. So I’m starting with an international brand that just opened its first branch in the Philippines—Foot Locker.
Foot Locker, the American footwear and sportswear retailer, has been everywhere except the Philippines. But last December 16, 2022, it finally opened at Glorietta Mall in Makati City, just in time for your Christmas shopping.
It’s the biggest Southeast Asian branch so far, with 1435 square meters of retail space!
After 2 days since it’s opening, I braved the queue (which wasn’t so bad) and made my first visit. Let me share what I saw!
Foot Locker is a paradise for sneakerheads. Brands such as Adidas, Converse, New Balance, Nike (including Jordan), Puma, and Vans are there.
It’s my first time to see an Adidas NMD S1 in person at Foot Locker:
There are Adidas Adilette 22 slides as well (okay, I’m an Adidas kind of guy!):
If you’re into caps, then you’ll enjoy an entire wall full of it:
It’s my first time to see RIPNDIP, a skatewear brand:
If you want your sneaker cleaned, then you may have it done by Crep Protect, a sneaker care brand:
And if you’re tired of shopping, then you can shoot some basketball at the arcade game:
Honestly, I didn’t find a sneaker that caught my attention and tempted my wallet (and I’m happy because I got some bills to pay). But I’m hoping that Foot Locker will release interesting sneakers in the future.
Have you been to Foot Locker in Glorietta? Did you cop a sneaker? What is it? Comment below!
